The Overton Mustangs rolled past Goldthwaite with a dominant 47–13 victory to claim the Area Championship for the second straight year!

Next up: a huge Regional Semi-Final showdown with our district rival and undefeated Mt. Enterprise Wildcats. The Mustangs are ready for a second shot and a chance to punch their ticket to the Regional Finals!

🏈 Round 2 - AREA Playoffs! 🏈
The Mustangs defeated West Sabine 49-20 last Thursday night to become bi-district champions, and move on to the Area Round of the UIL 2A Division II football playoffs. They will meet Goldthwaite in round 2 this Friday, November 21st, at Groesbeck High School's Goat Stadium.
Kickoff: 7:00 PM
Tickets: $5
District, THSCA, and Senior Citizen passes will be accepted.

Our Marching Mustangs will compete in the State Military Marching Band Contest on Wednesday, Oct. 29th, with their performance at 9:30 AM! 🏆

This is still a school day and there are competing priorities — but students and fans who are able to make the trip are encouraged to come cheer on our band! 💚🐴🤍

🎟 Special Group Rate: $5 (regularly $40 total! - $20 for prelims + $20 for finals)
➡️ Payment must be made by the end of the school-day on Mon., Oct. 27 to Debbie Brown (Elementary) or Jackie Bagley (Secondary)
➡️ You will pick up your armband from Mr. Calhoun at the McLane Stadium Gate C box office/ticket booth between 8:15–9:00 AM on Oct. 29
