We’re excited to welcome our Mustang fans and visiting teams tonight! To help everything run smoothly, please note the following parking and traffic arrangements. (See the attached image for a map.)

Visitor Bus & Trailer Parking:
  The area inside the Henderson front gate and in front of the Ag Shop on the secondary campus is reserved for visiting football, band, and cheer buses and trailers.

Home Fan Parking:
  Home Fans are encouraged to park on the secondary campus - entering from 135 or in the PIT on the east end of the field. Parking along Henderson street and in overflow areas may also be used.

Henderson Gate Access:
  The Henderson gate on the secondary campus will be closed to vehicle traffic from approximately 5:00 p.m. until the end of the first quarter to improve traffic flow and safety. Please avoid entering the campus from Henderson Street before and during the game. These vehicle gates are exit only during our varsity football events.

“PIT” Parking Shuttle:
  A golf cart shuttle to the Concession Entrance will be available from approximately 6:30 p.m. until the end of the first quarter for fans and guests parking in our Pit Area and/or overflow parking.

Community Update
At approximately 11:30 a.m., one of our OISD employees had a fall on campus and sustained minor injuries. Out of caution, an ambulance was called, and she was transported for observation. We’re thankful to share that she is expected to be released later this afternoon.
Please keep her in your thoughts as she recovers, and thank you for always caring for our Mustang family.

In celebration of Juneteenth, all Overton ISD offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19th. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, June 23rd.

The Overton Mustang Baseball Team will compete in the UIL 2A Division II state championship game on Thursday, June 5th at 9:00am at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. In order to support our young men and allow Overton ISD employees the opportunity to attend the game, all Overton ISD offices, classes and cafeteria will be closed that day. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, June 9th. Go Mustangs!

The Mustangs defeated Burton 4-1 in the 3rd and final game of their semi-final series, and earned the right to compete for a State Championship next Thursday, June 5th, 9am at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. These young men are making school history. All Overton ISD offices will be closed June 5th - make plans to be in Round Rock next Thursday morning to cheer on the Mustangs!

MUSTANGS win game 1 in the best of 3 State Semi-final series against Burton tonight! Game 2 is set for tomorrow, Thursday May 29th - 4pm at Sam Houston State. GO MUSTANGS!!!

State Semifinal Information -OVERTON vs BURTON All games will be at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville Game 1: Wednesday May 28th at 6pm - Burton will be home team Game 2: Thursday May 29th at 4pm - Overton will be home team Game 3: 30 minutes after game 2 (if needed). Ticket prices - $10 for adults, $8 for students: Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Credit Card /Debit Card only.

The Mustangs are Regional Champions!They swept Beckville in a double header tonight, and punched their ticket to the State Final Four. The Mustangs play their next series in the State Semi-finals where they will take on the winner of the region 4 final between Shiner and Burton. New Sports Update - Posted May 12, 2025 🚨Round 3 Update🚨 ETBU was notified earlier today that they will be hosting for their Super Regional series, so they can no longer host the Overton vs Gary Regional Semi-final round. The game site will now be Hallsville High School. This is unfortunately out of our control, but we apologize for any inconvenience. G1: Overton vs Gary, Thursday at Hallsville 6:30pm. Gary will be the home team G2: Gary vs Overton, Friday at Hallsville 5:00pm. Overton will be the home team G3: if needed, game 3 will follow G2 30 minutes after.

Internet Outage Update - 1:45pm The Brightspeed outage is ongoing. A repair crew is now onsite near Troup.

Overton ISD's Internet services through Brightspeed are currently down. The district's phones are currently down due to this outage. An update will be posted when more information is available.

Update on Internet outage - the services appear to be back up. If anything changes, updates will be sent out.

4-23-2025 - Please be aware that Brightspeed's fiber Internet service is currently down for the area. This is affecting Overton ISD's Internet and phone service., which are currently offline.

Mustangs came back from an 11-3 deficit - scoring 9 runs in the top of the 7th inning to overtake Beckville 12-11. Landon Hill closed it out on the mound to complete the sweep of the two-game series. GO MUSTANGS!!!
