Due to the rain and already wet field conditions, Friday's Baseball game vs Beckville has been moved to Panola College in Carthage TX. This will be Varsity Only game at 6:00PM on Friday, March 22nd. There will be a gate fee of $5.

Like many in our community, Overton ISD suffered some damage from the storms, strong winds and hail that rolled through our area earlier today. We appreciate the reports from our Mustang family. Thankfully, at this point, it doesn't appear that the damage is causing any additional hazards, or that it is anything that cannot be repaired.
We would like to take this opportunity to also remind the community that TX DOT plans to be working on 850/Henderson Street directly in front of the campus beginning tomorrow. They have asked that we do NOT park along Henderson Street for both Monday and Tuesday. See our earlier post for more information, and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
ATTENTION PLEASE
TX DOT will be resurfacing 850/Henderson Street directly in front of the Overton ISD campuses on Monday and Tuesday next week. They have asked that we do NOT park on Henderson Street during those two days. Instead, please park in the lot ("bus pit") area (east of the football field on Warren street) Also, you will probably want to use McKay/135 for driving to campus rather than coming up Henderson street. All student drop off and pick up will be at the elementary drop off/pick up area next to the cafeteria..
Due to the Lady Mustangs' playoff game on Monday February 12th at Pine Tree Pirate Center beginning at 6:00pm, the regular meeting of the Overton ISD School Board has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 13th at 6:30pm.

The basketball games originally scheduled for Tuesday, Jan 16th are now rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday January 18th. JV boys 5:00pm, Varsity Girls 6:00pm and Varsity Boys 7:30pm. The new date/times are also reflected in our online Athletics Schedule
Reminder - Both Thursday, January 18th and Friday, January 19th are regular school days and regular school hours. Classes begin at 7:40am.
