Please join us in welcoming Bailey Fredenburg to Overton ISD as our new Health Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year!
Ms. Fredenburg will join long-time Health Science teacher Tammie Stewart in helping lead courses within the Health Sciences Pathway at the CTE Center while also teaching Anatomy & Physiology at Overton High School. Together, they will continue providing students with valuable opportunities to explore careers in the medical field.
A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Ms. Fredenburg brings seven years of direct patient care experience in the nursing field, along with valuable classroom instruction experience focused on medical ethics, medical terminology, and patient care principles. Her combination of real-world healthcare knowledge and instructional experience will provide students with meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities as they prepare for future careers in healthcare.
Outside of her professional work, Ms. Fredenburg and her husband, Jeffery, are proud parents of three children — a 13-year-old daughter and two sons, ages 7 and 8. We are delighted to welcome the entire Fredenburg family to the Mustang community!
We look forward to the knowledge, experience, and passion Ms. Fredenburg will bring to our students as we continue expanding opportunities in health science and career preparation at Overton ISD.
💚Welcome to Overton ISD, Ms. Fredenburg! 💚

Overton ISD is excited to welcome Travis Driver as our new Theater and Art Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year!
Mr. Driver is an East Texas native who began his educational journey right here at Overton ISD before later graduating from West Rusk High School. A man of many talents, he brings a unique blend of artistic creativity, technical skill, and instructional experience to our district.
With a background in the building trades and welding, Mr. Driver most recently taught Ag Mechanics at Henderson ISD. However, his lifelong passion has always been the arts. An artist, maker, and teacher, he has dreamed since childhood of turning that passion into a full-time career through education.
Mr. Driver has served on the board of the Henderson Civic Theatre since 2004, where he directs a major production annually and contributes extensively to set design and construction, lighting, sound, facilities support, and stage production. He also works with a local Shakespeare performance group and brings experience in set design, lighting and light board operation, sound design, costume design and construction, props, and stage makeup.
We are thrilled to have Mr. Driver joining Overton ISD, where he will teach both Art and Theater while leading our One Act Play program.
💚🤍Please join us in giving Mr. Driver a warm Mustang welcome! 💚🤍
