What an incredible accomplishment for our Overton Marching Mustangs! For the SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR, our band earned a spot in the finals of the State Military Marching Band Championship, finishing 5TH IN THE STATE in Class 2A!
This achievement is a testament to the countless hours of practice, dedication, discipline, and determination these students have demonstrated throughout the season.
A special congratulations and heartfelt thank you to Preston and Randa Parker, our outstanding band directors for their leadership, commitment, and the countless hours they invest in our students. Building a program that consistently competes among the best in Texas doesn’t happen by accident!
To our students, directors, parents, and everyone who supports the Marching Mustangs — WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!
Two years. Two state finals appearances. And a tradition of excellence that continues to grow!
It’s a GREAT DAY to be a MUSTANG!
