Please join us in celebrating and congratulating our incredible Band Director, Mr. Preston Parker, who was honored last night with the Arts Teaching Excellence Award (High School Level) by Young Audiences at the 15th Annual Arts in Education Awards Gala held at Willow Brook Country Club in Tyler.
Young Audiences supports arts education across 18 East Texas counties, spanning elementary through post-secondary levels. Mr. Parker was the sole high school honoree and one of only six educators recognized for the evening—an outstanding and well-deserved honor.
We are so proud of Mr. Parker and his wife, Mrs. Randa Parker, our Assistant Band Director. Together, they have built a program defined not only by excellence, but by something even more meaningful—an environment where students discover their talents, grow beyond what they thought possible, and leave prepared for the opportunities ahead.
Mr. Parker (and Mrs. Parker), thank you for the impact you make every single day. You are truly a blessing to our students, our district, and our community.
