CHEER TRYOUTS- 2021

2021 CHEER TRYOUT MATERIAL

All candidates are required to learn and perform the required material listed below. Candidates will only be judged on the listed material. 

 

Each candidate will be responsible for learning: 

  • Performance Cheer (Videos 7 & 8)

  • Situational Chant (Videos 9 & 10)

  • Dance Band Chant (Videos 3 & 4) 

 

Reminder: Cheer clinic practices are for polishing and perfecting, NOT learning material. 

 

  • Click on the ATHLETICS tab. 

  • Hover over the “Sports Pages” tab. 

  • Hover over “Cheerleading” tab. 

  • Select “Cheer Tryouts 2021” from the drop down menu. 

  • Click on Tryout Material Link. If asked, the password is TRYOUT.  


 

PLEASE NOTE

  • Performance Cheer: Females will learn the female part, males will learn the male part. 

  • Situational Chant: Females will learn the female part, males will learn the male part, all candidates will learn the DEFENSE words. 

  • Dance- Band Chant: Learn the middle part. Poms will be provided for cheer clinic practices, mock tryouts, and tryouts.

Band Chant (Dance):

Each candidate will learn the MIDDLE part. Watch the blonde female in the middle of the formation.
