OVERTON ISD

I’m so glad to be a Mustang!  I am a 1988 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and earned my master’s degree at Texas A&M-Commerce.  My principal certification was earned from UT-Tyler and completed my superintendent coursework at Texas A&M-Texarkana.  I am beginning my 34th year in education.  My main focus is the safety and security of our students.  My daughter, Savannah, is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and is currently employed in the marketing field in the Dallas area. My wife, Suzanne, and I have been married for twenty-three years.  She joins the Overton staff this year for her 27^th year in education.  I am proud to serve as principal of the best high school staff and student body in Texas!
